64位是一条不归路，这么多年过去了，大量的软件还是没有64位的版本，或者安装十分麻烦。所以，即时是64位的CPU，大家在安装操作系统的时候，还是尽量先选择32位的Windows (兼容64位的CPU)。

如果有超过4G的内存，那么必须装64位的系统，结果只能在64位的服务器上安装AMP，你会像我一样痛苦。毕竟，我是微软终生FANS，这种烦恼就更加深了一层。

方法一：逐项安装和配置

64位Apache

方法二：修改32位的XAMPP，然后进行安装。没有考证过，有兴趣可以试试

1. 下载 32位 XAMPP for Windows

2. in ubuntu edit

/etc/apt/sources.list uncomment all the lines “thats what i did because i am lame”

do sudo apt-get update

then  sudo apt-get install ia32-libs
